Land of the Hobos (snippet)
Here is a sample of a track that I'm working on. Produced by Curtiss King. Let me know if you are feeling it. It's pretty much about where I'm from (Ontario) and where I live (Pomona).... "The Land of the Hobos."

I like it. "...truck of sawzalls."
ReplyDeleteYour cuz, Marc
Hahaha Marc. Man, I guess I need to enunciate. The line was "I bang too, just out the trunk when my songs on." :)
ReplyDeleteVerse:
I'm from the land of the hobos,
Low Lows and dope smoke
Where Dickies and belts are a suitable gun tote
Cats be packin gats and actin out a western flick
Where dogs kill dogs for their boss. Call him Michael Vick.
Tops get popped off. Not mardi gras but sawed offs.
How they expect the kids to act right when the law is wrong?
I bang too, just out the trunk when my songs on
Till I'm stuffin cheese in my pocket like a Calzone
Smooth like a tub full of Calgon
Im a high interest piece like a bad loan
These Southern Cali alleys' so grimey
But the grime is home, so in the slime is where you'll find me
Never change, like breakin down a penny
And I've never been sucky, no hickeys
I came to merk the game, no quickeys
And stay up on the grind, 50-50
FYI
merk = screw
50-50 = skateboard grind
Cousin Will :)
AHAHA!
ReplyDeleteMark - William has a tendency to rap with a southern drawl...I don't get it either ;) LOL
I'm always asking..."What did you say after that part about Benjamins"
William - LOL I know you don't really write songs about Benjamins...don't get defensive...it was a hypothetical example!
